Dr Artaban Jeldi gained his bachelor's in Physiotherapy (BPT) at the world-renowned Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore, India before moving over to the prestigious Shri Ramachandhra University, Chennai, India, to undertake a master’s programme in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Physiotherapy (MPT) for which he was awarded the Gold Medal for his academic excellence.

Artaban has worked with the NHS as clinical physiotherapist for several years while also completing a PhD at GCU which looked at physiotherapy and physical activity levels in total hip replacements. Before joining as a Lecturer at GCU he worked as an orthopaedic research physiotherapist with the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow.

Artaban’s main clinical, research interests and publications portfolio are in MSK Rehabilitation, joint arthroplasty, cross cultural adaptation of questionnaires and physical activity.
