Christina began her career in broadcasting at West Sound Radio in 1989 and has worked as a reporter and presenter for Radio Clyde, Grampian Television and Scottish Television. Her TV work includes 2 documentaries. Her academic career began in 1998, when, in addition to working as a reporter at STV, she taught part-time on the post-graduate radio diploma course at Bell College.
Christina joined GCU in 2012 as a lecturer in broadcast journalism teaching on the MA multimedia journalism, BA multimedia journalism and BA Media and Communications degree programmes. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the author of ‘Mind Your Language! Writing with Impact for Broadcast News’ (2018).
