Dawn Anderson was appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor International in 2024 and leads on the strategic and operational goals of the University’s internationalisation strategy, including leadership of the International Partnerships Office.
She first joined Glasgow Caledonian as an undergraduate student, after which she spent several years working in the insurance industry as a commercial underwriter and broker, before returning to the University to complete her master's in Risk Management.
Her areas of specialisation include business continuity and crisis management, societal risk assessment, insurance theory and practice and risk identification.
Dawn has led on a wide range of University-wide international projects throughout her time as a Senior Lecturer in Risk Management, before becoming Associate Dean International for the Glasgow School for Business and Society.
