Deborah O'Donnell

Deborah is the Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Applied Biomedical Science/Biomedical Science degree. Deborah teaches in the field of Biomedical Science specialising in immunology, pathology, and work-based learning.

Deborah submitted her thesis titled ‘An Explorative Study of the Relationship Between Work-Based Learning and the Development of Graduate Attributes in Biomedical Science Education in 2017.

Deborah has worked in the National Health Service as a Biomedical Scientist in cellular pathology. This experience informs Deborah’s current teaching, where she focuses on guiding students to meet the standards required of the Health and Care Professions Council and the Institute of Biomedical Science.
