Dr Dharminder Singh is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He completed his PhD in 2017 at Glasgow Caledonian University which focused on the use of Discrete Element Method to model the breakage of particles. Before joining GCU as a Lecturer, Dharminder worked as a Research and Development Engineer on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between University of Huddersfield and Trillium Flow Technologies where he conducted research on the condition monitoring of control valves and the development of Smart valves. Dharminder’s research interests are in the CFD modelling of flow handling equipment and application of machine learning for fluid dynamics problems.
