Emma is a lecturer for the Risk Management undergraduate and postgraduate degree. Emma teaches in the fields of health and safety Management, business continuity and organisational risk and resilience.

Emma submitted her MSc thesis in 2022. Her research interests include diversity and inclusion within the risk sector, leadership in the health, safety and risk sector and the impact of digital poverty within UK public sector organisations.

Emma is an experienced health, safety and Rrsk professional, serving as a Manager and Consultant for both private and public sector organisations. This experience heavily influences Emma’s current teaching, where she focuses on developing student’s knowledge and understanding of industry standards and employability skills.
