Gordon Hendry joined GCU as a Lecturer in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation in February 2013, following a two year spell as a Lecturer in Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. He successfully completed his Arthritis Research UK PhD studentship at GCU in October 2011, submitting his thesis entitled 'A multidisciplinary approach to the assessment and management of disease-related foot impairments in juvenile idiopathic arthritis'. His current research interests are primarily concerned with the clinical and cost-effectiveness of complex interventions for foot and lower limb disorders such as arthritis and diabetic foot ulceration. Gordon has previously worked as a Podiatrist for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS trust, and as a Research Assistant at Glasgow Caledonian University.
