Hamid Homatash is a Senior Lecturer on the BSc Computer Games (Software Development) programme and also works with the other computer games programmes.
Hamid has worked in the games industry since 2010 and continues to do so. Throughout his time in the industry, Hamid has gained invaluable experience in programming, designing and project managing games projects. This has led to many successful projects being delivered with many of them to critical acclaim, such as Monster Legacy being nominated for a Scottish BAFTA and featuring on the front page of the iOS App Store.
Currently, Hamid is involved as the hub coordinator for West of Scotland in the Tranzfuser project. This project aims to give graduates the experience and skills to fully develop a game as an indie developer, giving them a grant to help facilitate this with further money available depending on their success.
