Jill Sutcliffe is a Lecturer within the Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Management in the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. Jill has been a Lecturer at GCU since 2015 and has previously lectured in Civil Engineering subjects for several institutions in the UK and overseas. She obtained a Master’s degree following research on the shear behaviour of reinforced concrete beams and is a chartered member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Her main interests are in buildings and structures for buildings. She has more than 15 year’s experience in design and construction, including reinforced concrete and steel framed buildings for residential and commercial use.
