Jude Osamor is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity in the department of Cybersecurity and Networks. He holds a first degree in Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK. He recently completed his postgraduate studies at Imperial College, London under the UK Royal Society funding. He has several scientific publications to his credit. He has over six years of industry experience in cybersecurity, lending his tech expertise as a Security Analyst to organizations like Dell, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, and PHD Media, Nigeria where he was involved with the use of SIEM tools to triage incidents and mitigate cyber attacks.
He’s the co-founder of Cyberodane, which recently got accepted into the UK’s Tech Nation Libra 2.0. He’s a one-time panel of discussion member and alumni of the first cohort of the Cyber Runway accelerator programme which is the biggest cyber accelerator programne in the UK, supported by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS) and National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC). His research interest cuts across, AI, machine learning, IoT, digital forensics, security operations, security of things, and pen testing.
