Karen joined the Diagnostic Imaging team from an NHS background, having worked in Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a clinician for many years. Her main interest is in image interpretation having qualified as a reporting radiographer in 2008. She successfully completed her PgC in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education in 2014 and her MSc Diagnostic Imaging in 2015. She develops, leads and contributes to a wide range of teaching and learning across programmes within the Department of Podiatry and Radiography and the wider School of Health and Life Sciences. Karen is the Learning and Teaching Advisor for the Department of Podiatry and Radiography.
Karen’s research interest is in educational research and she is currently undertaking her doctoral thesis exploring the experiences of academic staff supporting students mental wellbeing.
