Kerri is a member of the Child and Adolescent Health Research Group. Her research interests and expertise lie in the field of health behaviours, behaviour change and (public) health interventions. Her most recent work has been in the context of children, young people and parents. Her doctorate was in men’s health and the psychology of weight management.
Kerri has attracted funding from a number of sources including the National Institute for Health Research, the NHS, and the Chief Scientists Office. She currently leads the SMYLE project.
Kerri is supervising a number of doctoral students conducting projects that include exploring social capital and mental health and wellbeing in young people, young care experienced parents' perceptions and experiences of safeguarding, and parenting interventions.
