Laura qualified as a registered nurse in 1993 and has worked in many different areas including general surgery, gynaecology and cardiothoracic. She became a Practice Education Facilitator in 2004 and has an interest in Practice Learning and how students learn in practice.

Laura has a Masters Degree in Advanced Health Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and is an NMC registered teacher.

Her current teaching remit covers a range of modules on the BSc Nursing programme.
