Mairead Collie has been a registered nurse for almost thirty years, specialising in Intensive Care. With a passion for teaching and supporting others, Mairead worked for ten years as a Practice Education Facilitator, supporting and advising mentors on their teaching and learning abilities within the practice learning environment. More recently, Mairead consolidated her interest in supporting students in placement by working on secondment at the University of the West of Scotland as a Teaching Fellow and is now full time lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University in Adult Nursing.
