After working for fifteen years in the City of London, as an investment manager, Mark has spent the past decade in a variety of non-executive roles including Chair of the Board at Fair Finance, the London based micro-credit provider, and at Numbers for Good, a consulting and advisory firm for the social investment sector. He is currently the Chair of the Finance Committee at Global Witness, an organisation that campaigns on human rights issues.
Mark studied philosophy at the University of Cambridge and at University College London, before spending a year at the University of Melbourne as a post-doctoral research fellow. His current research interests include the connections between moral and political philosophy and the mainstream and social finance sectors. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of London.
