Megan Glancy began her PhD in October 2021 with Dr Norah Palmateer, Dr Andrew McAuley and Professor Sharon Hutchinson. The aim of her project is to explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health and wellbeing of people who inject drugs in Scotland.
Prior to joining GCU, Megan worked as a Data Manager at Health Protection Scotland, and more recently as a Scientist at Public Health England. She holds a degree in Immunology from the University of Glasgow and has recently completed an MSc in Applied Statistics in Health Sciences from the University of Strathclyde.
Megan is a member of GCU’s Substance Use research group and holds an honorary position at Public Health Scotland.
