Dr Imene Mitiche is a Lecturer in the department of Computing. Imene teaches in various fields including Cloud Computing, DevOps, Software Development, AI and Data Science, at both postgraduate and undergraduate level.
Imene submitted her thesis titled Machine Learning for Condition Monitoring of High-Voltage Power Systems in 2018, and has been an active researcher since then with several published publications. Her research interests include: applied AI and data processing.
Imene has worked in the power and satellite industry for five years, as both Researcher/Data Scientist and Machine Learning Architect. This experience heavily informs her current teaching, where she focuses on guiding students to work to industry standards.
