Nicola is a lecturer in Fashion Marketing, she teaches across both Postgraduate and Undergraduate Fashion courses. Nicola’s main teaching focus is fashion buying, visual merchandising, as well as new product development.
Nicola is currently working towards a Doctorate of Business Administration in the area of fashion entrepreneurship and retail store design. She has published work in the research area of fashion independent retailers in the UK.
Nicola has over 15 years’ experience within the fashion industry, working as a womanswear buyer for one of the leading fashion independents in the UK, buying a portfolio of over 70 mainline fashion brands. Her fashion experience is key to Nicola’s teaching and business engagement, working with industry for live student projects.
