Paul Ord is a researcher with a background in social care. He has successfully delivered person-centred and positive behavioural support to adults living with a wide range of learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges.
Based in the Department of Nursing and Community Health, Paul is currently supporting research into incontinence in adults with learning disabilities.
Paul has an MA in Cultural History, Memory and Identity. His MA dissertation examined the role of social media in contemporary memorialisation. His further research interests include: the sociology of death and dying, digital mortality, health inequalities, memory studies, and biopolitics.
