Sadie's background is in Clinical Biochemistry and Endocrinology having worked for 17 years in the Laboratory Service at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, obtaining her PhD there part-time, researching into diagnostic tests of thyroid function. At GCU, Sadie contributes to undergraduate modules in Physiology, Clinical Biochemistry and Pathophysiology and is Module Leader for the Project Modules on the part-time Biomedical Science Masters programme.
