Dr Vasilios Stouraitis is a lecturer in International Business and Management at the Glasgow School for Business and Society and Programme Leader for the MSc International Business Management (also with Professional Practice).

Dr Stouraitis’ teaching and research areas include SMEs, multinational firm strategy, entrepreneurship and social enterprises, emerging market entrepreneurs, and agri-business.

He has worked with a range of organisations internationally and in the UK such as the United Nations (Food and Agriculture Organization, IFPRI and the International Fund for Agricultural Development), UK Social Enterprises (board member and mentor), Universities in the UK and abroad (external examiner, research and visiting work) and is an associate member of the University of the West of Scotland Centre for African Research on Enterprise and Economic Development.

Dr Stouraitis is a published author in international business and entrepreneurship and is on the editorial board of two international journals. He collects data regularly and welcomes collaborations and support on projects. The knowledge acquired from international teaching and other collaborations is also incorporated into teaching and module syllabus/delivery supporting the Common Good and GCU values.

Dr Stouraitis is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and certified external examiner, supervising PhD and DBA students and open to new collaborations.
