Dr Victoria (Vicki) Hamill joined Glasgow Caledonian University as a Researcher in November 2020. She also holds an honorary contract with Public Health Scotland. Her work focuses on blood-borne viruses - particularly hepatitis C and related conditions such as hepatocellular carcinoma.
She received a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde in 2011, followed by an MRes in Advanced Statistics and a PhD entitled The Role of Heart Rate as a Risk Marker for Predicting Adverse Outcomes from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2012 and 2016, respectively.
