Programmes requiring a PVG check

Some programmes, particularly in Allied Health fields, require that prospective students undergo a PVG check. Applicants for these programmes, who are unable to use our online application system, should complete the Application Form (PVG) .

Along with your application form, we require supporting documents which allow us to make an accurate decision with regards to your eligibility, whilst also providing you with a fast and efficient response to your application.
Copies of certificates/transcripts for your completed qualifications For Postgraduate programmes, these can be scanned and emailed to us at admissions@gcu.ac.uk , but please ensure that you state your name and course applied for in the email.
For Undergraduate part-time programmes or modules, these can be scanned and emailed to us at ptugadmissions@gcu.ac.uk
Academic or employer reference This is an important requirement for most programmes. We request that you submit a reference along with your application (not just the referees’ contact details). However, if this is not possible at the time of application and all other entry requirements are met, a reference may form part of your offer. If you are unsure, please contact us and we’ll be happy to advise.
