Sustainability
Welcome to Glasgow Caledonian University`s environmental and sustainability web pages.
With over 1,550 staff providing teaching, learning, and research opportunities to over 20,000 students through almost 400 courses we inevitably have an environmental impact and are committed to minimising it. These pages provide information about what we are doing to deliver on this commitment and contain information about our environmental performance and our sustainability initiatives.
Watch the video below, produced by some of our students, to learn about six small behavior changes you can adopt to help the University reduce its environmental impact and make your lifestyle a little greener. You can find out more about A Green Routine on our sustainability web pages. In addition, you could try your knowledge on recycling by playing the Campus Cleanup game developed by SCEBE students on the Applied Computer Games module. See below for the video introduction to the game.
Please get in touch if you require any more information about our environmental and sustainability initiatives or have any suggestions you’d like to share. If you would like to get sustainability updates to your e-mail, please sign up to our monthly Sustainability Newsletter.
